Documents Required
You must provide digital color scans of original documents. Documents not in English must be accompanied by a professional translation.
- Identity Documents: A valid passport (bio-data page), a national ID card, and birth certificates. If you have changed your name, marriage or divorce certificates are required.
- Skills Assessment: A formal letter from your assessing authority (e.g., Engineers Australia or the Australian Computer Society) confirming your skills are suitable for your occupation.
- English Proficiency: Official test results (IELTS, PTE, OET, etc.) taken within the last three years.
- Points Evidence:
- Education: Degree certificates and academic transcripts.
- Employment: Reference letters from previous employers, payslips, tax returns, and social security/pension records to prove your work history.
- Character Documents: Police certificates from every country where you have lived for 12 months or more over the last 10 years.
- Personal Particulars: Completed Form 80 and Form 1221 providing a comprehensive history of your travel and employment.
