Documents Required
All documents must be submitted as originals and copies. If your documents are not in German or English, they must be translated by a certified sworn translator. Depending on your home country, documents may also require an apostille or official legalization.
- Identity Docs: A valid passport and your birth certificate.
- Photo: A recent passport-sized photo (45x35mm) taken within the last six months.
- Proof of Residence: A lease agreement, sub-lease, or proof of property ownership.
- Financial Proof: Pay slips, an employment contract, or proof of pension.
- Health Insurance: Proof of Austrian public insurance (ÖGK) or a private equivalent providing full coverage.
- Clean Record: A police clearance certificate from your country of origin (issued within the last 3 months).
- Integration Proof: Proof of German A1 skills (if applicable) or a university diploma.
