Documents Required
All foreign documents must be legalized or apostilled by the issuing country and translated into Dutch, English, French, or German by a sworn translator.
Identity and Relationship Documents
- Passports: Copies of all pages of the passports for both the sponsor and the applicant.
- Marriage/Partnership Proof: A marriage certificate or registered partnership certificate.
- Unmarried Partners: A signed "Declaration of Relationship" and evidence of your bond, such as photos, joint travel history, or shared financial responsibilities.
- Children: A birth certificate. If only one parent is moving to the Netherlands, proof of sole custody or a notarized consent form from the other parent is required.
Financial and Supporting Documents
- Employment Contract: A copy of the sponsor's current Dutch employment contract.
- Employer’s Declaration: A specific form (werkgeversverklaring) completed by the sponsor's employer.
- Income Proof: The sponsor’s three most recent payslips.
- Integration Results: The certificate proving the applicant passed the basic integration exam (if applicable).
