Documents Required
All documents issued outside of Spain must be Apostilled (or legalized) and translated into Spanish by an official sworn translator (traductor jurado).
- Identification: A full copy of your current passport (every single page) and your valid Foreigner Identity Card (TIE).
- Birth Certificate: An official copy from your country of origin.
- Criminal Record Certificate: From your country of origin and any country where you have resided in the last five years.
- Proof of Integration: Passing certificates for the CCSE (culture and constitution) and DELE (Spanish language, minimum level A2) exams.
- Civil Status: If applying via the 1-year fast-track, you need a Marriage Certificate or the Birth Certificate of your Spanish parent/grandparent.
- Census Certificate: The Padrón certificate showing your current registered address in Spain.
