Documents Required
All documents issued by foreign authorities must be consularly legalized (authenticated by the relevant embassy/consulate) and translated into Vietnamese by a certified translator.
- Identity Documents: A valid passport or equivalent international travel document.
- Background Checks: A Phiếu lý lịch tư pháp (Judicial Record Card) issued by Vietnamese authorities, plus a criminal record check from your home country.
- Residency Proof: A copy of your Permanent Residence Card (PRC).
- Language Proof: Diplomas or certificates proving Vietnamese language proficiency (waived for exempted categories).
- Financial Proof: Documents proving income, property ownership, or a sponsorship guarantee (waived for exempted categories).
- Relationship Proof: If applying via an exempted category, you must provide marriage certificates, birth certificates, or official documents confirming your merit or contributions to the State.
