Documents Required
You must have all evidence ready at the time you receive your invitation. Documents not in English must be accompanied by certified translations.
- Identity Documents: A valid passport, birth certificate, and recent passport-sized photographs. If applicable, provide marriage certificates or divorce decrees.
- Skills and Education: Your formal Skills Assessment result (must be valid at the time of invitation) and copies of all degrees, diplomas, and academic transcripts.
- English Proficiency: Valid test results (IELTS, PTE, TOEFL iBT, OET, or Cambridge C1 Advanced) dated within three years of the invitation.
- Employment Evidence: Detailed reference letters from past employers, payslips, tax returns, and superannuation (pension) records to prove the work experience claimed in your points test.
- Partner Documents: If claiming points for a partner, you need their skills assessment, English test results, and proof of your relationship (e.g., a marriage certificate or evidence of a de facto relationship for at least 12 months).
- Character Evidence: Police certificates from your home country and any country where you spent a year or more.
