Birth certificates
Provide your birth certificate and your parent’s birth certificate. Together, they should show the link from you to your parent and from your parent to your Bangladeshi grandparent.
Grandparent’s Bangladeshi records
Provide a record showing your Bangladeshi grandparent’s Bangladeshi origin. This can be a valid or expired Bangladeshi MRP or e-passport, Dual Nationality Certificate, National Identity Card, online Birth Registration Certificate, or citizenship certificate issued by a Union Parishad or City Corporation.
Marriage certificates *
Provide the marriage certificate that explains a family relationship or a change of name. If names differ for another reason, provide the official or court order recording the name change.

Relationship affidavit *
Provide an affidavit from your parent confirming your relationship. For a minor child, the office may ask for a parent’s written request.

Passport changes
Use the passport with your endorsement when leaving and re-entering Bangladesh.
If you get a new passport, you need the endorsement reissued in it to keep using it, and a fee applies.
Endorsement can end
Your endorsement ends when the passport it is in expires.
It may also stop being usable if the passport is cancelled or replaced, or if the authorities withdraw or cancel the endorsement.
