Permit and address updates
You must keep your permit valid and continue to meet the conditions for which it was issued.
You must declare your address within 30 days of arrival and report required changes to your address or details.
To continue living in Lithuania on a permit, you must apply to renew or change it before it expires.
You can generally request a change up to four months before expiry; renewal is not automatic.
Permit can end
Your permit ends when it expires, and renewal can be refused if the conditions are no longer met.
It can also be cancelled or withdrawn for reasons including losing the basis for it, unlawful stay or work, or false information.
If the decision to cancel it takes effect, you must leave before your lawful stay ends.
You have 14 days to appeal, but an appeal does not always pause the decision.
If the lawful activity for which certain permits were issued ends, you must leave unless you have another right to stay or obtain a permit on another basis.
