Investment and annual reports
Keep your investment in the Philippines and file a sworn report each year with the Board of Investments, in person or through a representative.
Keep your visa card current through this process; late reports can mean a PHP1,000 fine plus PHP100 per day or cancellation.
As a registered foreign national, report in person to immigration in the first 60 days of each calendar year; late reporting brings penalties.
Visa can be lost
Your visa expires automatically if you withdraw your investment from the Philippines.
It can be cancelled if you fail to maintain the investment, miss reporting requirements, or deliberately leave out or change information in your annual report.
Your family's visas end with yours; a child's ends automatically if they turn 21 or marry.
