Adults generally need basic Slovenian, with exceptions for people over 60, qualifying Slovenian schooling or language courses, illiteracy with spoken Slovenian, or a disabling health condition that prevents the test.
Permit can end
Your permit can end if it expires or is not renewed, or if your family member loses their qualifying status or the relationship or other conditions end.
It can also be withdrawn for unlawful or misleading circumstances, security or public-order reasons, or other legal grounds.
Your address registration ends with the permit.
