Residence and work conditions
Keep a valid travel document, health coverage and enough money to support yourself, and register your temporary address in Slovenia.
Continue your qualifying remote work abroad; Slovenian employment or another main purpose needs a different permit.
Residence permission can end
Your permission ends at expiry and cannot be extended; you can request a new one six months later.
It can be taken away if conditions or your work purpose cease, or for false documents, rule breaches, removal, an entry ban or other legal grounds.
Your family’s permission can also be at risk if yours ends or family conditions cease.
