Present your pass
After approval and payment, follow the instructions that come with your pass. Present your pass and passport at immigration control when you enter Tanzania.

Adoption certificate
Provide the legally issued adoption certificate or adoption order showing that your Tanzanian parent adopted you.
Parent's identity documents
Provide your Tanzanian parent's passport or national ID. The document list also accepts a residence permit where applicable.

Pass conditions and reporting
Keep your passport valid and renew your pass before it expires if you remain eligible.
You need written permission from immigration before working, running a business, trading or practising a profession.
If you stop being a dependant, tell your nearest immigration office within 30 days; failing to report is an offence.
Pass can end
It ends on expiry, if your sponsor stops residing in Tanzania or loses Tanzanian citizenship, or a set time after they die.
A boy's pass ends a month after he turns 18 unless immigration allows otherwise; work without permission ends it too.
Immigration can cancel it in writing at any time, including for rule breaches, deception or inability to support yourself or dependants that risks reliance on public funds.
