Permit conditions and renewal
Follow your permit's limits on where you live, what you do and how long you stay, and renew it before it expires if you wish to stay.
You need separate work permission to work, including for yourself.
You must remain retired and have enough assured income for yourself and your dependants.
Permission can end
Your permission can end or be taken away if it expires, is not renewed, you no longer qualify, you break its conditions, or immigration makes a decision to end it.
A family member's permission can end if they cease to be dependent or cease to be your wife or child.
It normally ends one month after your death, unless immigration extends it.
