Get a Turkish identity register copy from a provincial or district civil registry office; it must have an electronic signature or a signature and seal or stamp. Submit a copy of your Turkish spouse’s identity card. Bring the original too.
Considerations
Things to think aboutThings to think about
Maintaining your permission
Your sponsor must keep enough income, suitable housing, family health insurance and address registration, and meet rules on past family offences.
You must keep your qualifying family relationship and live or intend to live together.
Renewal is not automatic; you must renew your permission when it expires.
Permission can end
Your permission expires unless renewed; it can be cancelled or not renewed if conditions fail or another short-term permit is refused after family conditions end.
Misuse, a removal order, an entry ban or time abroad can also lead to cancellation.
A sham marriage can cause cancellation, and those cancelled residence periods do not count towards required residence.
