Have you lived in the EU for at least 5 continuous years?
Documents Required
All documents must be submitted digitally through the MIGRIS portal. Any documents issued by foreign authorities must be Apostilled or Legalized and accompanied by a certified translation into Lithuanian.
- Identity Document: A valid passport.
- Exam Certificates: Official proof of passing the Lithuanian language and Constitution exams.
- Financial Proof: Bank statements, employment contracts, or pension certificates showing sufficient income for the last 6–12 months.
- Health Insurance: A valid policy providing coverage in Lithuania.
- Criminal Record Certificate: A certificate from your home country (and any country where you lived for more than 6 months in the last 2 years). This must be issued recently (usually within the last 6 months).
- Residence Declaration: Proof of your registered address and the consent of the owner if you do not own the property.
