Some jobs and businesses may require extra permission or have restrictions.
Travel to Pakistan
You can enter Pakistan without a visa, using the same routes and ports and meeting the same conditions as Pakistani citizens.
You can also use fast clearance at designated routes, ports and airports.
Own property and bank
You can buy, keep and sell property in Pakistan, including land and buildings, subject to property laws.
You can also open and use bank accounts.

Watch your registered email for updates and provide any extra documents or answers NADRA asks for. You can track your application in PakID using your Tracking ID.

Receive your card
Watch your email for printing and dispatch updates and receive your card at the delivery address you gave. You can then use your Pakistan Origin Card.

Documents needed
Family certificates and recordsFamily certificates and records
Birth certificate
Provide your birth certificate to show your connection to your Pakistani parent. If your other parent is foreign, use a birth certificate that shows both parents’ details; otherwise, other evidence of your family connection can also be used.
Parent's origin records
Provide evidence of your Pakistani parent’s origin, such as their CNIC, NICOP or POC number, Pakistani passport, manual national identity card, domicile, citizenship certificate or birth certificate. If none of your parent’s records is available, provide a sibling’s or close relative’s CNIC or POC instead, together with Undertaking E.
Undertaking E *
Provide Undertaking E from a relative. Submit it with the records you use to show your Pakistani parent’s origin.
* Only if your Pakistani parent's records are unavailable or your parent was a former Pakistani citizen and has died.
Other parent's nationality records *
Provide evidence of your other parent’s nationality. This can include their passport, birth certificate, citizenship certificate, marriage certificate or an equivalent record that shows their nationality.
* Only if your other parent is foreign.
