Documents Required
All foreign documents must be apostilled or legalized by the Ethiopian Embassy in your country of origin before they will be accepted by the ICS.
Identity and Status Documents
- Valid Passport: Must have at least six months of validity remaining.
- Current Visa: A copy of your entry visa (Investment, Working, or Business) and the entry stamp.
- Photographs: Two recent passport-sized color photos.
- Police Clearance: A certificate of good conduct from your home country or previous place of residence.
Financial and Supporting Documents
- Application Letter: A formal request addressed to the ICS. If you are sponsored, this must come from your employer or host company.
- Proof of Income: Bank statements, investment certificates, or pension statements proving financial self-sufficiency.
- Business Credentials: If applying as an investor, a copy of your valid Trade License or Investment Permit.
- Relationship Proof: Authenticated marriage certificates for spouses or birth certificates for children and adoptees.
